a banner and I am placing a banner ad.
How do I find the information they need?

is because this will save them from using up
their webspace. |

| Where should I
place my banner? |
If you have a webpage of
your own, it's a good idea to possibly
create a "link to us" page, or even create
an additional page that you can simply place
your banners on. This way it is in
your image file and saved online. All
you'll need to do is provide the banner url
to whomever needs it! |

| I have my
banner on my website. How do I create
a hyperlink? |
Depending on which program
you are using will be a deciding factor
here. Some people prefer going
directly into their control panel and
editing their html coding. Some use
programs such as Front Page. The
program that is used here is Front Page 2003
and to apply a hyperlink via Front Page is
as easy as this: Add your banner to
your page. Click once on your image
and then click on the Globe at the top
toolbar that has what looks like a chain
link. Type in your website address.
Be sure to add http:// and click ok.
If you are sending someone to a completely
different website; you'll want to click on
target frame and highlight new window.
Click ok. |
